"I'm not a Party Girl, but...": HBCUTech Homecoming

Hello Readers,

I'm back from my 3 days in Townsville East trying to have a grrreeat time for Homecoming weekend. I will honestly say that on a scale from 1 to 10 this Homecoming for me was about a 5, and that's pretty crappy. I wanted to just party it up, but that didn't happen. I will come back and write about that later, I won't make it long... I'll just do something like a Top 10 of memorable and disastrous events of Homecoming 2007. I'll probably write that tomorrow night, can't really do much blogging for the next week or so, at least not until the end of the day or the weekend because this week is the office move. I dread going in to work tomorrow, I took the day off on Friday and I can only imagine how much crap they've decided wasn't their problem and would to wait to pass off on me on Monday. I've sure they've been all-up-and-through my desk...oh, well...what can you do. *sigh* So, I've got some pictures for you, as promised...and I will place captions at the bottom to help you out, and like I said I will later come back and tell you about everything...starting with how the seamstress totally jacked me over with my dress...she didn't change the bottom bobbin thread to red...she left it white, so I'm in this red dress that fishtails perfectly, but you can see this BIG WHITE HEM LINE underneath!!!! I was too ticked off...how embarrassing!!!!

Decided to take a picture of the gams to show my trainer and say "Gracias"

Your Girl VV, Flashin' the camera...I'm wearing and real honest-to-God Trench Coat...for the effect of course

My dress from the back...I love it...
do me a favor and don't look at my legs...I'm full of mosquito bite scars from the summer...it'll take me all winter to make them go away...(ick,spit)

From top to Bottom

Rah Rah, Fai, M and I do our usual pose before a night on the town; Fai, Me, M and Rah Rah standing in line to get in the club...20 whole minutes...not bad for Homecoming

Am I just really short, or is my friend here "Big Z", as we called him in school ,just really "not short"

I'll be back later, with a couple stories about the weekend !!!!

Luv,

VV

Looks like you had a great time! You know I'm hating on you with that dress right!!!!

You look FABULOUS!!!

I know you have to remain semi-anonymous and all, but you're cheating us out of getting the full picture of a very attractive woman ... unless your eyes have been gouged out or something. :-)

Nice dress, nice hair and pretty smile. (disarmingly so)

E.C.: Baby, don't hate! That dress was not all it was cracked up to be...like I said the seamstress screwed me over big time with that daggum White Thread!!! I was heated!!!...and I sho'nuff was taped up at the top, the "V-cut" front was just waaaay too wide for me...so Fashion Tape to the Rescue. I wore the dress, and still danced with maybe 2 dudes, and they both rolled out on me...but maybe that's because I was a bit "tipsy"...ggiiirrl I'll tell you the details in a day or so...it was pretty bad...not my finest moment.

Hannibal: Yes...(sob) you've found me out...my eyes actually were gouged out in a freak curling iron incident (sob) Oh, the HORROR!!!!

Just kidding (of course). Well, there are a few blogger friends I've gotten to know pretty well that I actually have shared pictures with, I beleive Marlayna "itsthelittlethings", and Laurzalie (who does not have a blog anymore). I've also posted my eyes, once, as my Blog Header...that was a while ago though. This is not "MySpace" my friend...I'm too grown and too wary for that craziness.

P.S. You like my hair *shock and amazement* (obvious sarcasm) I thought your preference leaned towards the "long maned" female

I like clean, healthy hair that works, be it long, short, medium, so-called natural, relaxed, braids/cornrows, highlighted, layered, flipped, teased, feathered, ... (lol) feel me?

Long hair doesn't work on all women. TRUST. And some women don't really have long hair anyway ... just a mass of split ends. That's not progressive.

Hannibal: You're silly (and possibly a bit "touched")..."feathered" what is this, '84? (LOL)...well, I don't do faux anything...nails (well once or twice...I think it was once for Prom...and once in college),hair whatever...never had braids...short just works for me. I think I would look a little silly with really long hair...not crisp or 50's-esque, classic. And yes, it is clean and healthy...my sister is a stylist and I'm a chameleon of sorts,so it works...she does my cuts and ocassional color and I do the rest myself. :)

but I must tell you they no longer display it...but there is a blue one, with a turtleneck and slim fitted, puff bracelet sleeves and the back out...it's gorgeous...I think you would like it!

MFK: Thank You Da'ling...I do it for the fans!(LOL)
